After spending 15 months clearing out my late mother's house in Queens, I signed on with Helen and Ross Keit to sell that property. Within three months, I had a buyer. They had several alternate offers that gave me the security of knowing that if one offer was withdrawn (and it was), other offers would be there for me to take. Within four months, I closed on the house. I was very pleased with their marketing of my property, the electronic communications (and phone calls) that they made to update me throughout the process. They did not pressure me at any time and they were sensitive to the fact that I had an emotional attachment to the house (the one in which I was raised). They had a photographer come in to create a virtual tour of the house ... and I found the photos he took to be a wonderful way to remember the house in which I was raised. I have bought and sold multiple properties in my lifetime and I am not new to this game; but I will say that realtor/broker Vicki Ortiz was a breath of fresh air in this sometimes stressful game. I’ll admit, at first I was hesitant to start working with her as her office is located in Fresh Meadows and we were looking to buy in the Forest Hills area; but wow what a surprise!
